Ryan Call provides legal counsel and strategic advice to a broad range of corporations and trade associations, tax-exempt non-profits and advocacy organizations, political party committees, candidate and political action committees, and individuals. In addition to his significant practice in corporate entity formation and real estate transactions, Mr. Call helps clients achieve their political objectives while navigating the challenges associated with Section 501(c) and Section 527 non-profit entity formation, application for recognition of tax-exempt and charitable status, corporate governance, compliance with Internal Revenue Service and Federal Election Commission regulations, campaign finance, disclosure, government affairs, lobbying, and ethics rules that apply at the federal, state and local levels. His unique experience and relationships help organizations and individuals manage risks, overcome obstacles, and take advantage of opportunities at the place where politics, business, law and public policy meet.
Mr. Call has been a member of the Colorado Secretary of State’s Advisory Panels on Election Law and Campaign Finance and Lobbyist Regulation, and is a member of the Colorado Lawyer’s Committee Election Law Task Force. In addition to his membership in the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, Mr. Call has been an active member of the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Federalist Society and the Republican National Lawyer’s Association. He has given frequent presentations on state and federal campaign finance law, business and non-profit entity formation, and real estate transactions.
Mr. Call received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2005, and his M.B.A. in finance and organizational management and B.A. degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Mr. Call served previously as a member of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Alumni Council, as a Commissioner appointed by Governor Bill Owens to the Colorado Access to Justice Commission, as the National Co-Chairman of the College Republican National Committee, and as a legislative aide in the Colorado General Assembly. Prior to joining Hale Westfall in 2009, he served as In-House Counsel and Political Director for the Colorado Republican Party during the 2008 election cycle, and later served for two successful terms as the State Chairman of the Colorado Republican Party and as a member of the Republican National Committee.
A native Coloradan, Mr. Call and his wife Brittany now live in Arapahoe County with their four children.
